Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!!

This past weekend we had over a foot of snow. It was very exciting and beautiful at first, but now everything is wet and icy. We enjoyed playing and in the snow, and attempting to sled down the hill, but we weren't very successful. Here are a few pictures from the weekend. Enjoy the movie and Logan sledding. Also, he thought it was a great idea to put on a garbage bag and try to body sled. See what you think.

All I want for Christmas .....

.......Is my two front teeth. This past week Ranger lost his two front upper teeth. You can now see his big teeth starting to come in. He really likes to play tug with our socks, so I bet that more teeth will be coming out soon!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

This Sunday Logan and I got our Christmas tree. We drove about 45 minutes outside of Asheville to Boyd Mountain Christmas Tree Farm. http://www.boydmountainchristmastreefarm.com/

As we were driving back to Asheville from our Thanksgiving holiday in Alabama, we noticed many cars with Christmas trees tied to the top of them. We knew there must be several Christmas tree farms in the area. We found Boyd Mountain farm on the Internet, and it looked great. There were a lot of other families there as well. The trees have tags on them with the size and price of each tree. After finding your perfect Christmas tree, a worker will come by and cut it down. The workers load up your tree on the "gator" and carry it down to the bottom of the hill. You take half of the tag from your tree so you can pay and claim your tree before you leave. There was a big tent set up with hot chocolate, apple cider and snacks that you can enjoy while your tree is being carried down the hill and bundled up for the drive home! We went to get our car, drove through the "loading lane", and the workers loaded the tree to the top of our car and off we went! It was a great time, and reminded me a lot of my Grandfather's Christmas tree farm in Alabama, but on a much larger scale! We ended up getting a Fraser fir, and I got it decorated with the few ornaments that we have. It was a good time!
